ANDREW HUTCHINSON Dip NSVM

Andrew has a musical family going back three generations - from his great-grandfather playing the violin in silent movies, his grandfather a notable violin instructor, to his father who was principle bass player for the Liverpool Philamonic Orchestra. He had a great interest in the technical side, and decided to persue a career as a luthier.
Andrew graduated from the Newark College of Violin Making with a Diploma in Violin Making and Repairs, and immediately set up his own business in West Kirby. After working for over 30years in Hoylake, he moved his business to Greasby and has been going ever since.
The ViolinShop is involved in selling, maintaining and repairing instruments from school quality right through to professionals throughout the UK. This includes the sourcing and selling of valuable instruments, such as a double bass dating back to the early 1500's.
Andrew prides himself in providing friendly and honest advice and strives to provide the very best customer care both during and after sales. In his free time, Andrew still enjoys playing the bass in local theatres throughout the North-West.
